Club Rules

Members must log themselves in to the club using the unique QR code upon every visit. You are not required to log out
All guests and contractors must sign into the club in our Visitor Book.
Use of your mobile telephone for photography is not permitted in any area of the changing room(s), gym, pool and wet area, classes and spin studio
Adults/parent/carers are responsible for the safety and well-being in all areas of the club for all children 13 years and under
Guests can be ‘signed in’ with a member 18 years and above
Gym and Class users must be 14 years or older
We ask that you do not sit on the fabric chairs in your gym kit after working out
Smoking, including e-cigarettes is strictly prohibited in all areas of the club

Booking of Facilities on-line

Please inform Reception if you arrive more than 1 hour before your booked session and if you have booked more than 1 class/session
Regular No-Shows will result in a ‘ban on booking’. You will receive a phone call prior to this happening
Cancellation of all classes can be made on-line up to 1 hour prior to commencement. Thereafter, you should contact Martlesham Leisure direct. However, we would appreciate as much notice of cancellation as possible to allow us to offer your place to another member

Classes

Classes will take place in either our fitness studio, spin studio, fitness den, gym or pool area and all persons must be 14 years or older

Gym

All new adult (18 years and above) Premier members must attend a health check or Inbody Health Check with a member of the gym team. This appointment will last approx. 15 minutes. If you wish for a programme, allow another 45 minutes.
All new Premier members have access to a personalised gym programme and regular reviews with a member of the gym team
All new Premier Youth members, 14-17 years, must attend a health check and gym induction. This induction will ensure all Premier Youth members have been shown and explained how the equipment works. Health check and induction will last approx. 30 minutes.
All members using the gym must adhere to the dress code and etiquette. Further information is available on the gym noticeboard.

Swimming Pool

Please shower before using any facility within this area
Parents/guardians (18 years and above) are responsible for their children at all times

1:1 ratio of parent/guardian (18 years and above) to supervise all children aged 0-3 years in the pool and wet area

1:3 ratio of parent/guardian (18 years and above) to supervise all children aged 4-10 years in the pool and wet area

Family swim time – children 11-13 years can swim unaccompanied if there is always a parent/guardian (18 years and above) present within the club

Leisure swim time - children 11-13 years, must be supervised by a parent/guardian (18 years and above) either in the pool or sitting poolside

Members 14 to 17 years, can swim in Leisure and Family swim sessions. Alternatively, if accompanied by an adult member during Adult swim sessions
14 years and above can use the jacuzzi, heat and steam room
18 years and above can swim in all swim sessions.
Additional requirements as to pool etiquette can be found within this area
Pool and wet area is unavailable to use when an Aqua class is taking place

Squash

Black soled shoes are not to be worn on court
All other information and rules can be found on the noticeboard by the squash courts, ground floor corridor

We require all members to have their photograph taken. This information is only visible by Club staff.
